Not a red rose or a satin heart

I give you a woman.

She is quiet confidence clothed in strength. She is kindness hiding beneath assertion. She is the steadfast gaze of the sunrise upon the salted earth.

Take her.

She promises to seek light in darkness. She promises empathy. She promises to be all of the importance in the semi-colon of a sentence – not an ending, no, but the hint of something more to come.

Here.

She will take all you have given her and return you not twice, but thrice as much. She might not meet you halfway, but she will go the whole nine yards. For you. Just for you.

I give you a woman.

She treads lightly, but pursues ferociously, possessive of and faithful to her lightful dreams. User beware, her scent comes packed with teeth and claws and everything raw.

Tell me you will take her in, tell me you will take her home.
